When 12-year-old Dorothy Gale and her best friend/dog Toto are whisked away on a magical tornado to a modern, metropolitan Emerald City, all she wants is to get back home. But after several action-packed adventures with magical friends and foes in Oz, she has an important decision to make.
Oz fans are in luck! The new short film is just the beginning of the next thrilling chapters of the Lost in Oz story. Producers and IP owners at at the Bureau of Magic teamed up with Bang Zoom! Studios and Polygon Pictures Inc. to keep the adventure going.
To bring the story to life, Lost in Oz creators and crew set up shop in Bluescape, a virtual workspace that became the perfect hub for their creative development. They met in Bluescape to develop concepts, gather reference material, review boards, and more.
Bluescape really allowed us to come together in one virtual space where we could see and connect with each other. We could all be looking at the exact same script and the same reference material and the same animatic—everything we need to truly collaborate as we would in person.
